ApplySift for Paylocity

Paylocity Recruiting has no way to export a job folder's applicants, and nothing in its Reports area carries contact details per applicant. This Chrome extension adds one button to a job-folder page that saves the applicant list as a CSV. You then upload that file to ApplySift like any other export.

Install

1. Install ApplySift for Paylocity from the Chrome Web Store (link coming once the listing is approved).
2. Open a job folder in Paylocity Recruiting. If the tab was already open before you installed, reload it once.
3. Click the ApplySift icon in the toolbar. Include is set to new applicants only, so you do not pay to screen people you have already rejected; switch it to everyone except rejected, or all applicants, if you want them. Then Save applicant CSV. A file named paylocity-<folder>-<date>.csv lands in your Downloads folder.
4. Upload it at applysift.com.

What it reads, and what it does with it

• It works only on go.paylocity.com/recruiting/ pages, and only when you click the button.
• It uses the sign-in you already have: the Recruiting app keeps a session token in the page, and the extension reads it fresh for each request. It never stores the token, never asks for your password, and never sends anything to anyone but Paylocity.
• It requests the folder's applicant list, a hundred at a time with a pause between pages, exactly as the page itself does when you scroll. It reads names, emails, phones, applied dates, status and stage, then keeps only the applicants whose status matches your Include choice. It does not download résumés, screener answers or anything else.
• The CSV is built and saved inside the page. No server, no extension storage, no analytics. Nothing leaves your browser until you choose to upload the file.

Permissions

One host permission, for go.paylocity.com, so the button can run on those pages. No other permission is requested.

If it does not work

• "No Paylocity session found." Reload the job-folder page while signed in, then try again.
• "Paylocity signed you out." Sessions expire; sign in again and re-run. A run takes seconds, so nothing is lost.
• "Endpoint changed." Paylocity changed its interface since this version shipped. Email hello@applysift.com and it will be fixed.
• "Only N of the folder's M were read." The folder changed while collecting; run it again.
• "None of the applicants match…" No one in the folder has the status you chose. The message lists the statuses the folder does have; pick another option, or email hello@applysift.com if "new" should have matched one of them.

Privacy

The extension collects no data about you or about applicants. The only data it touches is the applicant list you asked it to save, which goes straight to a file on your computer. ApplySift's privacy page covers what happens if you then upload that file.
