ApplySift

Pricing

The summary is always free. You pay for the scored file by the size of the upload, or for API credits by the row. No account and no subscription; checkout by Polar, prices in US dollars.

Upload a file

Drop an applicant CSV on the home page, see the summary for nothing, then buy the scored file if you want the row-by-row detail. The price depends only on how many applicants are in the file.

Free, every time
  • How many rows are Likely fraud, Review and Clear
  • Each signal, with the number of rows it caught and their share of the file
  • How many distinct phone numbers and mailboxes the file holds
  • Column mapping when your export is not recognised
In the scored file
  • Every row of your CSV, with its tier
  • The reasons for that tier, in plain words
  • Which other rows share its phone number or mailbox
  • Opens in Excel, Numbers or Sheets

One payment covers one file. Upload the same file again within 30 days and the scored version downloads without another charge; a different file is a new run. Upload your applicant CSV.

API

Score a file, or one applicant as each application arrives, from your own code. You buy a prepaid pack of rows; the key on your receipt is the pack. Every row scored counts against it, and nothing else does.

Credits last twelve months from purchase. A file sent twice on the same key within a day is counted once. The API page has the requests and the error codes. Need more rows than this, or a monthly plan? Email hello@applysift.com.

Browser extension

ApplySift for Paylocity is free. Paylocity Recruiting has no applicant export, so the extension adds a button that saves a job folder's applicant list as a CSV, inside your browser. You pay only if you then buy the scored file for that upload, at the prices above. How the extension works.

Questions

What counts as a row?

One applicant. The header line of the CSV is not counted. A file of 480 applicants is a 500-row file at $19.

My export has more than 10,000 rows.

Split it. A file and an API request each take up to 10,000 rows, and exports from one posting are almost never bigger than that. If you screen that many regularly, the API packs above work out to about a cent a row.

Does the summary ever cost anything?

No. Upload as many files as you like and read the summary of each. You are only asked to pay when you click for the scored file.

Do I need an account?

No. Polar takes the payment and emails you a receipt. For the API, the key is on that receipt and in Polar's customer portal. There is nothing to sign up for on applysift.com.

Is tax included?

Polar is the merchant of record and adds any sales tax or VAT your location requires at checkout. The receipt is from Polar.

What if the file does not download, or is unusable?

Email hello@applysift.com within 14 days and the purchase is refunded. The terms have the details.

What happens to my file?

It is scored in memory and forgotten when the response is sent. Nothing from the rows is stored or logged; the privacy page lists the little that is kept, none of it applicant data.
