How to export applicants from JazzHR to CSV

JazzHR's self-serve export is a report rather than a button on the job. It covers every candidate in the account, so you filter to the posting afterwards in a spreadsheet.

Steps

  1. Open Reports.
  2. Run Candidate Record Raw Data Download. It exports every candidate with fifty-plus fields, including name, email, phone, job title, source and applied date, as a CSV.
  3. Large accounts receive the file by email once it has been generated.
  4. In the spreadsheet, filter the job-title column to the posting you are screening and save that as its own CSV.

A single candidate can also be exported from their profile (below the résumé, Export Candidate, CSV or PDF), which is handy for one-offs but not for a pile.

What the export does not include

Résumés and attachments. A full export with files is a support request handled by plan and can take weeks. For fraud screening the contact columns are enough.

Then

Upload the filtered CSV to ApplySift. JazzHR's headers (first_name, last_name, email, phone) are recognised automatically.
